Renge Fushigi 10ml (Perfume) by KyaraZen

The intense heat of the summer catalyses miraculous transformations to the lush landscape of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Warmth, brings forth intense plant growth, the glossy pond surface formerly reflective of the sky, becomes covered all over by round radiant waxy pastel leaves competing for space and sunlight. Interspersed between these leaves are hidden buds, camouflaged by their bulbous and innocently green appearance. Triggered by Summer Solstice, these buds burst forth in an intense explosive blooming of pink and white in a matter of days, unfurling the spring loaded petal fronds to reveal an intensely perfumed jewel center that makes one weak in the knees. The intense heat though, quickly fades the florals, leaving the perceiver a sense of reluctance and nostalgia.  

Taking inspiration from this picturesque scene, and by condensing the honeyed, narcotic, heady perfume both pink and white lotus phytonic extracts, intertwined with the initially floral-less spicy resinous base of Jinkoh-fushigi, the harmonious fusion captures and preserves the emotions of summer heat, for it to be enjoyed during the impeding winter. Olfactory traces of the seasons together with smooth deep floral notes transition into a persistent rich musky powdery sweetness that will linger for days, perfect for scenting one’s winter apparels. It is always the bitter cold of winter, that brings back the fondest memories of summer.
